OCT 4th: Presentation in Manhattan

Our presentation in Manhattan

teatro circulo, 64 East 4th Street. October 4th, 7pm ET
After a year of travelling for the Good, it is time for a presentation.
You can expect a clear TED-like presentation of our idea, an anecdote-packed recount of our journey, tips on how to do-it-yourself, and a discussion about the virtue of independent charity traveling.

Charity Travelers combine their journey with supporting grassroots NGO's and initiatives independently. We have successfully demonstrated this concept from October 2009 until now, supporting initiatives in over 30 countries on every continent, tackling issues ranging from street children to refugees, from HIV to forest conservation, and from sustainable income generation to indigenous arts.

This is our vision:

„A world in which social networks empower travelers to follow their inclination to do something charitable without unnecessary bureaucratic hurdles. A world in which charitable work is exciting, cool, and effective at the same time.“

We would like to invite you to our Presentation that will take place on October 4th in

theatro circulo
located on 64 East 4th street
between Bowery and 2nd avenue
in Manhattan, New York City

We will begin at 7pm ET.

Program:
1. Brief introduction of Charity Travel
2. Anecdotes and photos from projects
3. Broader outlook and future development of the idea
4. Questions and Discussion
5. Toast and informal time together

If you decide to come, please confirm by writing a short email to
kamielverwer@hotmail.com. We hope to see you there!
