15. March, 2014, Madrid, Spain.
The founders of Charity Travel have been traveling in Spain for a bit more than a month now. We are searching for a place to live a sustainable life, devoting ourselves to permaculture, art, writing, and raising Miru. A couple of weeks ago, an incident reminded us of our privilege as citizens of rich nations. We were driving on a gorgeous countryside road in Cataluña, when our car stopped working, and started burning as soon as we got into safety.

Exciting news to start 2013

5 February. Seoul, South Korea.
This is the monthly update of the founders of Charity Travel. In this issue:
  1. We are happy parents now of our daughter Miru!
  2. Kindmankind.net is still working! The platform for independent volunteering that we set up in 2011, is still going strong. And it will remain in the ether in the foreseeable future, so keep sharing.
  3. We are planning to settle in the Spanish countryside! This seems to be the place to go if you want to live relatively independent of the "system".
  4. Kamiel is working as a Wordpress developer and can help you out with your charitable website!

Happy New Year!

December 31. Seoul, South Korea.
On the verge of the new year, we would like to wish everybody a bright and hopeful future and a very good start of 2013. As for Charity Travel, we hope that more people will share, especially their knowledge, with those who need it most. And there is other news.

West Africa Journey starts on August 1st.

West Africa Journey from August 1st.

July 22, 2011. Berlin
This year 2011 we have launched our new platform kindmankind, the web's largest open resource for independent volunteers and creative changemakers. We have built up our online fb-tw-li-yt "empire" and Yeon is finishing her book on Charity Travel (in Korean). The Schengen-zone now gently forces us to head South - a journey which we delightfully undertake and to which you are invited! We will work at the grassroots to inspire sustainability and kindness through theatre. The journey starts in Berlin on August 1st.

charity travel goes kindmankind

Charity Travel goes Kindmankind.

May 2, 2011. Berlin
We the people of charity travel have created a platform where independent volunteers can find and share grassroots initiatives around the world. Thanks to some amazing people, the collection of free and no-fee "volunteering opportunities" is already huge and our kind community of independent changemakers is contributing more.

Real grassroots change starts here: http://kindmankind.net
